Whenever I begin developing a painting, it always starts with small, quick sketches. Recently, I revisited the many sketches I’ve saved over the past 40 years. For this edition, I’ve selected ten of them and will refine each one — allowing the original idea to fully emerge. As some of the drawings are still in progress, I cannot yet reveal them all. However, the first three are shown, and the remaining seven will be posted as they are completed — and made available for immediate purchase.
Each drawing is done on vellum, framed in a passepartout, and presented together with the book and special book marker in a beautifully embossed gold handmade box.
