DOES – L’Hiver

Foto Digital Does-2

DOES – L’Hiver is a The DeLuxe Edition of “Does”. Each artwork is an unique piece. The prints are hand embellished by DOES, using acrylics, spray paint, gold leaf or paper.

Digital DOES – Joos van Barneveld, born in Veghel, The Netherlands, in 1982, began his journey as a professional footballer with Fortuna Sittard from the age of nine. In 1997, he discovered graffiti, sparking a dual life as both athlete and artist. After a knee injury ended his sports career in 2010, he fully committed to art, applying the discipline of football to developing a distinctive style rooted in 3D lettering, bold color palettes, and precise outlines. As a member of the LoveLetters crew, DOES draws inspiration from old-school graffiti while pushing conceptual boundaries—transforming urban walls into sculptural artifacts by physically extracting and recontextualizing them. These works, marked with geographic coordinates, form a contemporary archaeology that reflects his deep connection to graffiti culture and its lasting influence on urban society.
