Jonas Leriche – Vanity Skull, Silver Black on White is a Silkscreen Art Collectors Edition. Each print is personally signed and is assigned a unique number by Jonas Leriche.
The series “Vanity Skulls” are the collaborative creation of Jonas Leriche and the famous silkscreen studio Gary Liechtenstein Editions from New York. Over the course of his remarkable 45-year career, Gary Lichtenstein has produced a wide range of silkscreen editions and multiples with known artists. Lichtenstein’s prints have been exhibited and collected by, among others, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian, the San Francisco Art Institute, the Chicago Art Institute, the Butler Institute of American Art, the College of Art & Architecture at the University of Tennessee, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Silvermine Arts Center and the International Print Center NYC.
These special prints are all silkscreen editions printed on 320 grams Coventry Rag paper. Layers of transparencies special effects are expertly overlaid with Diamond Dust, resulting in a captivating visual narrative that dynamically unfolds before the viewer’s eyes.
